Location

Smithville, Ohio

Client Name

Wayne County Schools Career Center

Project Description

A recipient of the Staright A Grant, Wayne County Schools Career Center is creating a new 15,000 SF facility to support their RAMTEC programs (Robotics Advanced Manufacturing Education Collaborative). This facility will house Robotic and CNC equipment to provide new career opportunities in manufacturing. The facility will provide advanced industrial robotics training and new manufacturing skills to prepare you for the workforce or continuing education at a university.

This new facility was designed with input from the school and a board of local manufacturers. The space will be flexible enough to accommodate equipment supplied through the Straight A Grant and future industry equipment similar to those used by local manufacturers. It will have its own entrance and presence on the campus, while still maintaining access to the existing facility to share resources. The program spaces included in the proposed design:

• Robotics High Bay Lab
• CNC High Bay Lab
• Two (2) Classrooms
• Support spaces
• Observation areas
DESIGNED FOR PEOPLE... DESIGNED FOR LIFE.
