Outside of work…
You can find me with my Family and Friends, especially now that my wife Amanda and I have two little boys, Caleb and Joshua.

What you don’t know about me…
One of my favorite past times is painting in both oils and acrylics. My painting style has evolved over the years, especially through architectural school and the influence of my Uncle Mike. Proportions are everything in architecture and this is where my realistic painting style has developed. I find it a challenge to be able to paint what I see.

How I got my bragging rights…
I have learned a lot about design and what it means to be a good designer through my studies at Kent State University. I graduated from Kent in 2003 with a Masters in Architecture. During that time I gained experience working for a couple architecture firms and have now found a home here at SoL Harris/Day Architecture.

How I give back…
I was part of the Leadership Stark County’s Spotlight Program and am currently working with the Manna Ministry at my local church (we feed breakfast to children who are bused in from local communities).

Who molded me into the person I am…
My parents and grandparents have taught me the importance of an education, hard work, discipline, love and, most importantly, that Jesus Christ is the only way to heaven.

Architecture that inspires me…
St. Peter’s Basilica in Rome… because it is one of the most amazing displays of art and architecture in the world.
