Travelers at Akron-Canton Airport now have more space to move around as they navigate the check in process. The newly renovated ticket wing is officially open. The $2.7 million project created an open, airy space with 1,800 square feet of new circulation space, large windows to utilize the natural light and an exterior glass canopy.
This project is part of the CAK 2018 capital improvement plan that began in 2008. It offers a better experience for passengers, providing them with more room to find their way and relieving the stress and tension caused by an overcrowded space.
If you have't used CAK recently, you should! Where else can get from the parking lot to the gate in less than a half hour? Definitely "a better way to go!"
